Dear Beloved Friends,
I am Jennifer Smith, the Founder of The Giving Closet Project. Having dedicated 15 years of my life to the public school system, I have witnessed firsthand the profound effects of unequal access to basic essentials such as clean clothing, shoes, and hygiene items among our students. This awakening inspired the birth of The Giving Closet Project in April 2016. What started as a fervent passion has since transformed into an innovative organization that brings tangible solutions to school communities. I extend a heartfelt invitation to you, our cherished sponsors and friends, to embark on this impactful journey with us.
Within the realm of education, the pressing issue of student homelessness continues to demand our attention. Since our inception, we have proudly supported over 10,000 students across Duval and the Palm Beaches. However, the need persists. Your involvement in our mission, as an integral member of The Giving Closet Project family, holds immeasurable value. Our upcoming initiative, “Rhythm and Roots,” is scheduled for October 7, 2023. This event promises a blend of festivity, acknowledgment, and a deeply meaningful influence. Discover comprehensive event details and sponsorship opportunities at www.givingclosetproject.org.
I am overjoyed to share insights into how you can contribute to our mission. Feel free to contact me at jennifer@givingclosetproject.org. Your active engagement is truly priceless, and I am eagerly enthusiastic about the potential for collaboration. Thank you for considering our cause; I am eagerly awaiting your response.
Warmest regards,
Jennifer Smith Founder,
