We’re here to support you and the students you serve by providing clothing, hygiene, and other basic essentials to low-income and homeless youth in need.
The Essential Angels Program is a referral-based care package distribution system that provides clothing, hygiene items, and more to students in grades Pre-K through 12 who are experiencing homelessness and/or persistent or situational poverty. School counselors, case managers, social workers, and personnel that work within the school district utilize our services. Social service agencies that also work with youth and families can utilize our services as well.
They do this by identifying students in need, working with families to obtain sizes and style preferences, and submitting referrals for students through our online portal. GCP staff assembles and discreetly distributes customized care packages with a weeks worth of clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and school supplies. This allows for discreet delivery of services, eliminates transportation barriers to service, functions as part of a coalition of nonprofit partners working to clothe our most vulnerable youth, reduce chronic absenteeism, and bolster students’ dignity and self-esteem in and out of the classroom.

Please note that this referral is to be completed only by school/district staff or staff from other social service agencies. This includes teachers, case managers, counselors, social workers, etc. The GCP is the bridge for connecting school communities with clothing, hygiene products, and other basic essentials to ensure their low-income and homeless youth have access to these items throughout the school year.
If you are a parent seeking help for your child, please reach out to the guidance counselor at your child’s school.
