Please know that all of our Duval sites are located inside of school buildings. To ensure that we do our due diligence to keep our youth and school communities safe, all volunteers must become a DCPS volunteer. Please take a few minutes to complete the volunteer application.

The Giving Closet Project, Inc. (Jacksonville, FL) provides clothing and hygiene products to students in need, elevating their self-esteem and dignity. Our grassroots, organization was founded by a former Duval County teacher in April 2016.
To volunteer with The Giving Closet Project in Duval County Public Schools, you must complete a Level 1 background check application. This is non-negotiable and will be enforced at the school level.
The process only takes a few minutes, and approval is required before you can serve in Duval County.
