Field Trips / Workshops: Scheduled year-round.
The Problem
For thousands of students across Northeast and South Florida, the lack of access to basic clothing and hygiene items has a profound impact on their mental health, academic performance, and a student’s overall well-being. Students who come to school without clean clothes or essential hygiene supplies often experience shame, bullying, and social isolation, which can lead to anxiety, depression, and chronic absenteeism. Unmet basic needs disrupt their ability to focus, engage, and succeed in the class.
